Morning Prayer!
Here at CPCA we start each school day with intentional prayer time — a short, powerful way to ground students, build community, and reinforce the values that guide learning and life.
Why morning prayer time matters
Sets the tone: A brief, focused moment of prayer helps students transition from home life to the classroom with calm, clarity, and purpose.
Strengthens community: Shared prayer fosters unity, respect, and empathy among students and staff, creating a positive learning environment.
Reinforces values: Morning prayer connects faith to daily behavior — encouraging compassion, responsibility, integrity, and service.
Supports social-emotional well-being: Prayer can reduce anxiety, increase resilience, and help students manage stress in a busy school day.
What a morning prayer time looks like
Time: 5–10 minutes, scheduled at the start of the first period.
Format: Short greeting, a Scripture reading or inspirational reflection, guided prayer, and one specific intention or gratitude.
Leadership: Rotating students, empowering students to participate and develop leadership skills.
Orientation Day!
Getting ready for that first day of school!.
here we are watching a movie with students during our pumpkin patch fundraiser: crisp autumn air, golden leaves, and rows of orange pumpkins set the scene. Vendors offer their creative snacks and drinks while local artists display handy work, adding a touch of creativity to the harvest atmosphere.
This simple, shared evening—good food, familiar faces, and a family-friendly movie under the stars—makes the pumpkin patch fundraiser more than an event. It becomes a beloved pre-Thanksgiving tradition of simple joys and community spirit, where memories are made and hearts are warmed by fellowship and seasonal celebration.
Having fun with the staff! Making tie-die shirts for our field trip in coach’s office.
